ABOUT
Oli got into filmmaking because he loves world building, interesting characters and good stories. He's a huge genre fan and if it was made in the 80s, say no more, he's there.
After completing a degree in aeronautical engineering at Imperial College London, Oli decided to pursue his love of film and editing instead. He moved home. His parents were thrilled.
Oli has since trained at The National Film and Television School, edited many shorts, which have been screened across the world, and worked his way up to first assistant editor, helping to deliver three films premiering in Un Certain Regard at Cannes Film Festival in the last two years.
Oli’s editing work includes Requiem, starring Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us), winner of a Royal Television Society Award, a British Short Film Award and with over 1 million views on YouTube, and Motherboard, the debut feature from BAFTA winning director Victoria Mapplebeck which had its world premiere at CPH:DOX in March.
He is a member of the British Film Editors and BAFTA Connect and no longer lives with his parents.
